Opening of the Muse Sargadelos Carlos Maside

The SARGADELOS - CARLOS MASIDE MUSEUM was inaugurated on July 17, 2023. Probably the most outstanding art gallery of 20th-century Galician art . The collection features original works by the most important figures of that century, from Castelao , the germ of the renewal movement, to more recent artists such as Patiño or Leiro , passing through Laxeiro , Colmeiro , Maruja Mallo , Souto , Seoane or Maside .

The SARGADELOS - CARLOS MASIDE MUSEUM is located in a sociocultural complex designed, funded, and managed by the SARGADELOS business group . It is located in O Castro, Sada (A Coruña) . Next to it are one of the SARGADELOS production plants (open to the public), a shop with an outstanding design by the same firm, and a tavern that will surprise you with its atmosphere and local dishes .

But the building that houses the painting collection will amaze you with its hexagonal shapes , its circular staircase and its floor that aims to convey the spirit and color of SARGADELOS .

It can be visited on Fridays from 10:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m.
